All you need is love.
Today I’m popping in with a quick post to share one of my favorite (and super easy!) last-minute Halloween costume ideas: CUPID.
You most likely already own about 90% of this costume, but if not, I’ve also got you covered with a complete shopping list to browse through + tips and tricks for styling the look head to toe.

Putting together the Cupid Halloween Costume:
- Outfit – I love a quick and easy costume that can be pulled together with stuff you already have in your closet. Bonus points if it’s a monochromatic look! You could opt to switch out the red wings for a white pair instead and also incorporate shades of pink and white here and there. But, I personally think this costume looks best with a completely RED head-to-toe outfit… shoes included. Of course, the entire base of the outfit is completely customizable. However, I think adding an element of lace or satin fabric keeps the look on the sexy side. My favorite way to do this is with a bodysuit or corset. Then pair it with something more covered up like a pair of leather trousers or even your favorite jeans if you want a more casual approach.
- Accessorize – For this look, you’ll need 2 basic accessories: a bow and arrow, and wings. Again, the style and color can vary, but these are the 2 elements that really solidify the costume. To amp it up a bit, I recommend adding a headband or tiara that features some kind of heart motif. The one I’m wearing in this post is a DIY, but I will link similar items and the supplies to make your own here.
- Smokey eye – Using various tones of brown and burgundy eyeshadows, create a classic smokey eye with a deeper crease and outer V shape. Then apply black winged liner, and top with red glitter over the entire eyelid. Add a pop of shimmer to the inner corner with your favorite highlighter. To finish the eyes, add wispy corner lashes.
- Sparkle – For most costumes on the girly/glam side, I like to add a generous amount of sparkle to the look in any way possible. There’s something about the lighting at Halloween parties that just seems to pick up on things like crystals, gems, and glitter in such a perfect way! For this cupid look, I like to add statement jewelry (like these earrings) with tons of sparkly rhinestones. Then, I layer a body shimmer oil with a few sprays of hair and body glitter all over any exposed skin.
