This week I felt inspired to create and share five different color palettes that are having pretty strong presences in the design world for 2021. From home decor to fashion and all the textile industries in between, I just know we’ll be seeing these color combos (or similar versions of them) come to life.
If you’re a Procreate App user, I also went ahead and created color swatches that you can download and use directly in the app. Simply click here to download. You’ll need to unzip the folder to reveal the individual color palettes. Then you can import your desired palette to your Procreate project by tapping the “+” sign on the top right corner of the color palette panel.

Palette notes: Light, bright, and full of personality. Soft and understated but still vibrant. A subtle nod to rainbow hues.
Millennial Purple
Palette notes: Replacing Millennial pink. An unexpected violet combined with muted gemstone colors. Perfect balance of youthfulness and sophistication.
Y2K Nostalgia
Palette notes: Young at heart on every level. Mood-boosting colors that lift the soul. High energy and good vibes. A nod to nostalgic feelings of lighter times.
Sandstone
Palette notes: Calm and serene. As seen in nature. Invokes feelings of coziness and stability. Perfect balance of soft and bold.
I hope you’re inspired to use some of these palettes in your upcoming design projects, and thanks for stopping by!
