Welcome back to another #FrightFemmesFriday ••• A Halloween collab with Caro from Blonde2Brunette blog! If you’re a little confused, check out the intro post about this series from its original conception back in 2015! Also, peep last week’s VOL.1 post here.
This week we have a Beetlejuice inspired babe and a creepy nurse with a bit of body paint action sprinkled throughout.

MALPRACTICE

GET THE LOOK:
- Start off with a light foundation/base + powder – or you can choose to use white cream paint (it’s just a bit more tricky to get 100% opaque!)
- Choose one eye to do a standard “pretty” smokey eye look with a winged liner. Add some shading and depth to the inner corner down onto the bridge of your nose.
- Next use a neutral eyeliner pencil to start mapping out all the areas you’ll be adding wounds, and the collar of the outfit.
- Use a variety of browns and grey shadows to add depth to neck, collar bones, hairline, and nose.
- To make the wounds, start with a dark black line, then layer on reds, purples, and browns fading out towards the edges to create a gradient. Go back in and redefine the black lines in random areas to add depth. The stitches are made with black gel liner. Draw them in slightly curved and random.
- For the wound around the eye, fill in the entire space with black cream, and layer on the reds, purples, and as a final touch you can add some fake blood for a bit of shine and dimension.
- Keep adding shadows and highlights around the collar/neck paint to add even MORE dimension. Don’t stress about making it look too realistic. I think it looks more interesting when there are some brush strokes. It gives the overall look a more “painterly” effect.
And that concludes VOL.2 ••• More to come next week!
