It’s no secret I’m jewelry obsessed. For years I’ve loved topping off ANY outfit (from sweatpants to a sexy dress) with layers of necklaces, bracelets and everything in between. As of late, I’ve been gravitating towards all things golden.
Today I wanted to share some of my current go-to pieces that I have been reaching for on the daily – all from amazing small businesses!
• beaded bracelets
Starting off with my most worn pieces. I have a 3 piece stack of gold beaded bracelets from Stacked by Konalani that I almost never take off – seriously, I eat, sleep, and bathe in them. There are tons of different designs in her shop but I have this one with a star bead, this one with a simple strand of gold beads, and I also have one with rose quartz beads that is not available at the time I’m writing this post – but check her shop often as she is always adding new listings. This will no doubt become my go-to shop for gifts, and I can’t wait to keep adding new goodies to my arm stack.
• chunky hoops
These are my go-to earrings for pretty much any outfit. They are the perfect size to make a statement without going too far. The ones I have aren’t linkable but here is a similar pair from one of my favorite local boutiques, Oak Apparel and Home. If you love chic and dainty jewelry that will turn heads, check out their collection. They always have fresh new styles coming in and everything is curated to perfection.
• flat necklace
One of the newest additions to my collection, but I already love and can’t stop reaching for it. It stacks effortlessly with other necklaces and adds some shine and boldness without feeling over the top. This one is from The Songbird Collection – another small business that I have grown to love over the past year. Their pieces are trendy and great quality without breaking the bank, and I find myself drooling over their new arrivals almost weekly.
•coin necklace
I love a good coin necklace, and this one by the brand Ettika is just SO perfect all around. The coins are double sided, the chain is trendy yet classic, and it adds the perfect amount of sparkle to any layered necklace stack. I don’t reach for this one as often because it’s a bit bolder for everyday looks, but I have been pairing it with more casual outfits (t-shirts and oversized sweatshirts) to help balance the look. I think this piece is the most versatile in that it can easily be dressed up or down depending on your outfit.
• zodiac necklace
Sagittarius in the house. If you’re into zodiac things and don’t think it’s woo-woo, I highly recommend picking up a more personalized piece of jewelry that reflects your sign. This one by another amazing Etsy shop called Ohh My Gat Collection is my go-to because it’s dainty and the perfect size for layering. I’ve worn it non-stop for weeks on end and it’s still in great condition. The chain itself sparkles in the light and the zodiac charm is beautifully ornate. Ps- if you love a gorgeous IG feed, you’ll want to follow this brand!
• dainty rings
When I say these have not left my fingers since they arrived at my doorstep, I’m not exaggerating! Lately, I’ve been all about the tiniest, daintiest rings worn layered on several fingers. My faves are from a small business called Live Your Angle – specifically this one, this one, and this one. I ordered a few of each in several sizes, so they are stackable and can be worn on multiple fingers. They have zero tarnishing, and I’ve worn these everywhere, from beach to pool to everything in between.
• charm earrings
This last one is the most recent (and also slightly biased because I designed and made them myself) addition to my earring collection. Earring stacks are all the rage lately and I was feeling a bit left out of the party, so I designed the Cutie Charm Earring collection for my brand TWG Designs. They are perfect for second or third ear piercings and stack perfectly with a pair of hoops. I love that they add a dash of fun and pop of color to any look. I like to mix and match them or just wear one at a time.
These are all the jewelry pieces I’m loving and living in lately. They have all held up amazingly and you really can’t go wrong with the price points. Plus, shopping small business makes it that much better. Most of these pieces came with hand written notes and stunning packaging.
I hope this inspires you to pick up a few new gems or go through your collection to bring out some forgotten items to the forefront of your jewelry rotation. Any of these would also make great gifts as they are trendy yet classic and would work so well with many different personal styles and ages.
